Practise classes provide students and graduates, under the guidance of a teacher, the opportunity to refine their shiatsu practice during their course or after they graduate. Attending these classes is optional, but recommended.

Practise classes fall into two types:

General Practise classes – Under the guidance of an experienced BSS-Do Teacher or Trainee Teacher, these classes are open to anyone with an interest in shiatsu whether student, graduate or complete beginner. These classes are usually held on Friday evenings.

Advanced Practise classes – These classes are open to 2nd and 3rd year students, graduates and post-graduates. Run by experienced BSS-Do or guest teachers, each class focuses on a particular topic for the evening. These classes are usually held once a month. There is a small fee to attend Practise classes. Please contact the relevant School for more details.

One Day workshops – These are held periodically through the year. A day may follow up on an Advanced Practise class, delving deeper into the subject matter, or it may be inspired by a teachers’ particular subject of interest or specialisation.

General Practise classes – Under the guidance of an experienced BSS-Do Teacher or Trainee Teacher, these classes are open to Year One students and are usually held one evening per week.
