Kulwinder Kaur  BSc (Hons), MRSS(T)

Kindy Kaur

Kulwinder has taught at the British School of Shiatsu since 1998. She is a Shiatsu Society registered Practitioner and Teacher and an assessor for the Shiatsu Society. Kulwinder was the Principal of the Nottingham branch of the BSS-Do until 2004 when she stepped down to raise her two children. She continues to run a successful clinic in Nottingham and currently teaches for the various branches of the BSS as well as for the Genki School of Shiatsu in Bedford. Kulwinder is committed to her own personal development as an individual, a mother, teacher and practitioner. She has practiced Yoga for over 20 years and draws on meditation and Chi Kung practices to develop her skills and awareness. She considers herself a “life-long learner” and her teaching style reflects her respect for the different styles of learning and her passion for encouraging individuals to own their experiences and embody them into their own style.

Kulwinder has been greatly inspired by the teachings of Ray Ridolfi, Saul Goodman and Sonia Moriceau. More recently she has developed a specific interest and expertise in working with Pregnancy and Childbirth, having used Shiatsu to support both her own pregnancies and births and those of other women.
