Carina graduated from British School of Shiatsu-Do in 1992 and qualified as a Member of the Shiatsu Society (MRSS) in 1994. Since then she has been working in Sweden as a Shiatsu practitioner and Chi-Kung Instructor. In 2001 Carina started teaching her first Shiatsu training course and is now running her own school in south west Sweden at the Harmony Shiatsu Center in Angelholm.

Her main teachers have been Suzanne Franzen and Ray Ridolfi with other strong influences being Saul Goodman, Neil Gulliver, Hilary Totah, Liz Arundel and Wataru Ohashi.

Her background is in the martial arts, with a black belt in Jiu Jitsu she became a class instructor the highest achievement.

Carina also went to Japan in 1999 for 14 months to further develope her practice. Here she trained and studied with Japanese Masters in Shiatsu, Seitai and Chinese Chi-Kung. Carina is also a Yoga Instructor she holds a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage and trained in counselling for one year in 1991 at theSpectrum College, London.

During 2004 and 2005 she spent a year working with the British School of Shiatsu-Do in London, then returned to Sweden to continue running her school and maintain and build her shiatsu practice. She is a regular visitor to the London school, teaching special workshops as a popular guest teacher. She is continuing to find ways of creating greater depth and balance in her practice and further developing her teaching skills. She says she loves teaching and inspiring students to learn more about themselves in a multitude of ways.
